City Year Los Angeles has got big news: J Brand Jeans, a designer jeans company based out of L.A., is partnering with City Year Los Angeles to create three, exclusively colored jeans available for a limited amount of time with 100% of the profits benefiting City Year Los Angeles!
The fall partnership is billed as ‘Charity In Color’ and with this new line of exclusive colors of J Brand Jeans, people can look great in their jeans and feel good about buying them too! The three new colors, vine (green), apache (taupe), and plum berry (dark pink) will have 100% of their net profits go to benefit City Year Los Angeles. That means that by buying a pair of the J Brand exclusive jeans, you will help students who are most at risk of dropping out have a tutor, mentor, and role model in their classrooms making it their sole duty for a year to see that their students get back on track to graduate.
Here at City Year Chicago, it’s our great pleasure to spread the word about this unique partnership between J Brand and City Year Los Angeles, however, we’re not stopping there. With the goal of selling 1,000 pairs of jeans, we need you, our champions of service, to get involved too in spreading the word to help support City Year L.A. For doing so, we’re holding a giveaway for you to receive your very own pair of the exclusive City Year J Brand Jeans! That’s right, if you help spread the word about the jeans, you’re immediately entered in our drawing to win a pair for yourself!
To do so, visit the City Year Chicago Facebook Group and share the link to this blog post on your Facebook page and tweet about it on Twitter using the hashtag #cyjeans and a link to the City Year J Brand Jeans webpage. On November 14th, we’ll gather up the names of all those who’ve shared this story and randomly select a name from the group.
Good luck and we’ll reveal the winner soon! In the meantime, check out more on the partnership with J Brand on CityYear.org and the J Brand Blog.
